LE BEAU, a total skin and body management day spa at Kardinya, has been voted the Best Spa Establishment in Australia.

The luxurious establishment is owned and operated by Karen Briffa, who received the award earlier this month at the Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia annual awards evening, held on the Gold Coast.

Industry luminaries, salon and spa professionals and businesses came together for a spectacular evening of fun and celebration. Ten categories were recognised and the judges scrupulously examined skills, protocols and procedures, professionalism, evidence of compliance to high standards of practice and business systems.

They also looked for passion and attention to detail, which often stem from a real love of people and a desire to serve them and improve not only their skin, but also their quality of life.

Karen said she was thrilled that her salon had been recognised as the best in Australia. “We're absolutely delighted,” she said. “But you don't win these kind of things on your own. I've got a team of beauty therapists who are absolutely fanatical about the business.”
